Is the hell freezing over thing in reference to Morales finally posting?

Are they opening the Soundgarden in Discovery Park again? Sweet! I LOVE that installation. Can’t wait!

See, I heard about this at KISW last week and I was like, “Sure, whatever… its just a rumor and why should I care if they get back together… its for the money if they reunite”

But that series of thoughts left me feeling a bit uneasy…

Had I really become SO JADED that i poo poo one of my grunge icon bands…

    Had it come to this…

    Was I now a Seattlite?

Had I truly removed myself from the coveted mania of being fanatic and restructured into the bitter shade of critic?

Was I being judgmental of the band name… or by the influence of other cynical Seattlites?

I choose to be a Fan on this subject…

    Why,

I get to remember what it was like to be a fan, not a judge and jury…

Something a lot of us forget.

    something I forgot

Sorry to hear that you get your news from KISW.

Hey, I’m a Seattleite, and I was a huge Soundgarden fan back in their heyday. I haven’tforgotten, but something about Chris Cornell just bugs me now. Plus, it’s not exactly like SG left us wanting more.

It’s the same thing with Smashing Pumpkins: sure I loved them fifteen years ago, but the incredible asshat that is Billy Corgan precludes any excitement I might get from this “reunion”. I’d rather spy on Kim Thayil playing ping-pong at the Roanoke Tavern.
