I caught Primus' reunion tour when they played the entire Seas of Cheese album plus a few extras. Gotta say it definitely exceeded my expectations, especially considering the complete genre change les has taken in his career.
I'm really looking forward to hearing the Pixies match the energy but I'll keep my hopes low.
Pavement has the benefit of always having been pretty low-key, so they just might pull it off in good fashion. Here's to hopin'

Oh man, I don't check in for a few days and the CLAWS COME OUT. Rrrrrroar. Revoking accounts, sun allergies, SWINE FLU, to fest or not fest, 6000 sq ft of responsibilty, sheeet.

What about PAVEMENT??? If they come to Seattle, which they probably will, I'll imagine I'll go, but honestly, I'm growing very, very jaded that every year, usually around Coachella time, we get to find out what band from our past is reuniting. Question. Has anyone ever seen a reunion show that has just totally exceeded expectations? I still think shows are best in the moment when the music was made. That said, I'm still bummed that I missed the My Bloody Valentine Show earlier in the year.

It's the Ec-enemy.
It's just that I just took on 6000 sq ft of responsibility with the new Subsonic Headquarters. I do it for YOU, ya know! Plus, I had tix to every day of Bumbershoot but fuggin SWINE FLU took me out of that game. That's right, I can be your first celebrity swine flu survivor. (that is if you want to call me a celebrity.. and who doesn't?!? I've been on YouTube, M-effers!! YEAH!)
And Tom, I think you may have the wrong wording there I think it might be hiatus, not hibernation. I was out every weekend, just not at music venues. Winter is time for music hibernation. Stick me in a corner of the Sunset until summer comes back and I'll be happy.

Are you referring to school children? KEXP Mural shows were good, but then I just saw 20 other venues with 7 nights of filler. Except for concerts in parks whose Ticket Master surcharge was more than the price of any Neumo's show.

Why was LB the only one that didnt go into summer music hibernation? Is it because of his sun allergies? I had to wait for the Fall festivals to disturb my slumber.
