While I still have not heard the entire album (truth be told it seemed to be sold out everywhere) the show at the Paramount was sick, sick, sick. It was pure hard rock bombast, and while I can't say if this music will stand up to repeated listens, it was a pure shot of adrenaline live. Watching Grohl play drums is some kinda spectacle all in itself.

Check out the FF's live at Wembley Stadium DVD. The encore is John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page playing Zep songs with the Foo's and Grohl is on the skins for a song. Must be a privileged life, eh?

See, this isn't a super group as much as it is, QOTSA with special guests John Paul Jones and (Duh) Dave Grohl.

But, I have always wanted to hear what Dave Grohl could do with John Paul Jones... That would be a silly good rhythm section.
