That’s right, tonight the almighty Budos Band is back for another go and this show should be nothing short of epic. If you are not familiar with the Budos Band then I will help you out. They have two albums out on Daptone Records, play the funkiest Afro-Beat / Funk / Soul jams, and put on one of the most flawless shows you will see from a 12 piece band. They hail from Staten Island, New York and have been touring in support of their latest effort (Budos Band II) for months.

If you were one of the lucky few to score a spot inside of last June’s Saturday Knights release party you already know the drill. The had the 500+ crowd jiving and dancing along with every note and pretty much gave me a perma grin that lasted for days. So what are you waiting for? Get your ass out to Neumos and then proceed to shake it profusely.

Also opening is the Northwest’s own Publish the Quest. I just recently got their cd at one of their shows and have been rocking it pretty regularly. They are a mishmash of funk, soul, folk, jazz, jam band, afro beat, and a whole lot of other tasty tidbits. I am definitely a fan and am confident you will be too.
