Point Juncture, WA and Hazelwood Motel @ Neumos

Portland soft-rockin’ group Point Juncture, WA (no such place exists, geography buffs) plays Neumos this Thursday with Seattle’s Hazelwood Motel. PJ, WA remind me a little bit of the Breeders with some guitar antics, psychedelia, and slow-dirge flourishes thrown in. “Ghostly jazz-rock” also comes to mind; there’re some happy trumpets floating around. I’ve been keeping them on my infamous “watch list”.
