Two Free Albums and One Long “Amateur Hour”

With that said, local hip hop hellion and all around hilarious dude Type is releasing his new album in December entitled Amateur Hour. As a promotion he has been kind enough to bless us with a link to download his last two albums, Mustache Immaculate and Well Known Secrets for FREE. Do it. You know you wanna.

Also, Type has come up with the most engeious Album Release party idea ever. Since his album is entitled “Amateur Hour” he has dedicated a large portion of the night to a local hip hop competition.The contestants will be judged by a panel of 4 respected and knowledgable (read: aren’t afraid to go “N”) local hip hop promoter’s, writers/bloggers, and whatever else it is that they do.

The contestants are: Billy the Fridge, Waves of the Mind, Taybot, Notion, Wizdom, Lorenzo the First, M SEA, Premonition, Duranged Pitt, Suntonio Bandanaz, Stationary Drifters, and Fresh Ave (AKA - Know Choice, Akrish and DJ Rise). And SeattleSubsonic’s very own dj100proof (that’s me!) will be providing dj services.
