Wanna know what’s awesome.. 2 great bands hitting the same stage on the same night. Wanna know what’s better? It’s FREE!

The Celebrity Orphans’ release was one of the best I heard out of Seattle in 2007. I’ve classified them as Alt-Bluesploashathon but even nonsense cannot touch their greatness. The music is rich, like a thick cut of red meat dripping with the saucy vocals and guitar from BC Campbell. A local genuis for lack of better words. Also on the bill are Trombone Cake who came onto my radar when they played the Reverb Fest in Ballard this year. I only wish it had happened much much earlier.
