Kinski to Rock the Little Tea Pot With Heavy Hearts

A little treat for those of you living on the banks of the Narrows. This Saturday, Sept 20th, Kinski distortion drenched licks will be heard blowing out of the spout of Bob’s Java Jive in Tacoma You know the joint, it’s the little diner/venue in the shape of a giant coffeepot where they serve pop-tarts. (And beer! Lots and lots of sweet beer!)

If you’ve never seen the place before, Here are some pictures: And don’t be fooled by the demure, sing-song nature of the building. This place has live music almost every night jammed up in here. And inside, it’s a hodge-podge of knick knacks and black light trinkets that even the old (new) Crocodile would be jealous of.

And might I add, that not only will Kinski be steamin up the place, but also on the bill are The Heavy Hearts, Umber Sleeping & Waves and Radiation.

Doors are at 8. Kinski will go on at midnight. From the mouth of the band themselves we have this: “These kinds of shows are normally really fun. Expect some covers”.

In other news, Kinski has started writing the next record, going to Europe (mostly Italy & Moscow!) in December & playing with the Dead C in October! (see the Calendar)

I’ll be going for Waves and Radiation. I saw them play at the Comet a couple months back and they kicked the piss out of everybody. Best band I’ve heard in forever.
