Just thought I’d let ya’ll know where the hell Q Cafe is (just south of the Ballard Bridge). Tiny Vipers, she of the guitar mystics and spectral song, will play a (supposedly) intimate set with a couple of experimental acoustic outfits from Austin, Tejas. This would seem to be the perfect setting to soak in the classical grit of TV’s songwriting.
A little more about the place: “With our 238 persons occupancy, no alcohol, solid sound system, tons of free parking, and a classic Seattle urban cafe vibe, it’s one of the up and coming all-ages-venue in Seattle. We’ve hosted open mics, gospel, alternative, hip hop, one grammy winner, jazz, some classical music, and of course, many local musicians.”

Cool. Q Cafe is a great space. Hadn’t heard of it either until I picked up on a show there last month. And Tiny Vipers, well, she’s fab. In an un-shiny kind of way. Very raw, very inward. Mesmerizing to observe in performance. Prepare to see a poet, a storyteller, relay her beautiful art in song.
