Jaguar Love, Das Llamas, Nazca Lines at Neumos

Jazz-rockers (I think I just coined that) Jaguar Love headline Neumos this Wednesday, with local stalwarts Das Llamas and Nazca Lines. In case you’ve been ignoring, Jaguar Love is yet another Blood Brothers spin-off, featuring bottle-blond Johnny Whitney on vocals and piano, Cody Votolato on guitar and bass, and former PGMG guitarist J Clark on drums and bass.

There’s been a lot of talk recently about capacity issues at Neumos. I was there the other night for the Foals’ show, and it really didn’t seem to be a problem. We were able to move easily between the upstairs, downstairs and Moe Bar. And it was all ages. Go figure.

I’ll be at this show. It should be good.
